Meet Ronen and Kristina, the passionate duo behind Kosher Nordic Venture, where Israeli Sefardic flavors and Norwegian culinary traditions unite to create unforgettable kosher dining experiences across the Nordics.
Ronen, originally from Israel, has called Norway home for 24 years. By day, he leads the B2B division of Jysk in Norway, showcasing his leadership and dedication. Yet, his true passion lies in the kitchen, where his Sefardic roots shine. With years of experience as a kosher caterer and cook for Oslo’s Jewish community, Ronen is renowned for his mouthwatering burgers, velvety hummus, and vibrant "12 Tribes" salads, bursting with bold spices and magical ingredients. His house-fermented harif adds a fiery kick, transforming every dish into a celebration of flavor.
Kristina is Norwegian-born, brings a deep appreciation for tradition and flavor to Kosher Nordic Venture. With a professional background in law and IT project management, she now runs her own clinic specializing in stress and trauma therapy, helping others find balance and healing. Yet, her lifelong passion for traditional Nordic cuisine has always been a cornerstone of her life. Kristina has spent years studying time-honored methods of food preservation and preparation, mastering the art of crafting authentic Norwegian dishes. Kristina’s dedication to tradition and craftsmanship infuses every dish with a sense of heritage and care, perfectly complementing the vibrant kosher flavors of our menu.
